The guidelines followed are from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), The American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM), and the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
You will want to check with your state’s Board of Nursing. Each state is different.
Each training is customized to meet the individual needs of the clinic and the student.
Our RDMS will assess each student’s needs before arriving.
Up to three students can be trained at the same time. This will also be a factor in the length of the training.
Typically this training can be eight days with the weekend off.
There are two factors to be considered.
- How many students are being trained?
- The skill level of the students.
- Each model may count as two scans.
Yes. How many CEUs earned is dependent on the length of training.
It is very unusual for a student to be deemed competent and feel confident with only four days of hands-on training. We offer Competency Completion training to fill the gap.
We train at your facility, using your equipment, ensuring a smooth continuity of care.
The cost is $650/day (plus travel & expenses) for up to three students. How many days is dependent on each student’s experience and skill level.
No. Our Medical Director, Dr. Susan Rutherford, OB/GYN, specialing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, believes there is no substitute for learning on a live patient and baby.
MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, and CNMs are able to self-claim Category II CMEs depending on the guidelines and requirements of the accrediting body, state regulations, and professional organizations. Category I CMEs are coming soon.
Yes. These are typically completed in two to three days depending on the number of students.
